3 Ply Ropes
3 ply basically has 3 individual single twist groups of cotton that all twist together to form a more traditional looking rope.
Thanks to the new, twisted structure, the string is strong, it works easily with it and you can get two types of tassels by unraveling it with your fingers or combing it with a comb.
This cord is softer to work with than the braided cord but strong enough to hold structure when required. Itâs a good macrame cord thatâs suitable for all sorts of projects.
Great for plant hangers due to the structure it has. Beautiful for wall hangings too.
When you finish a piece, the four strands can be unravelled to give a wavy fringe effect. This can be further combed out or left in wavy sections depending on the style preferred.Itâs a really lovely rope to work with and will give you a dreamy boho result.
